Tom Martin –

Tom is part of the Ashtanga Yoga Frome team and has been practicing yoga for 20+ years, focusing on the ashtanga vinyasa method for the last 10+ years. He completed teacher training with John Scott, Lucy Crawford, Greg Nardi and David Keil in
2017. He has also practiced under Saraswati Jois in Mysore India, and Hamish Hendry at Ashtanga Yoga London amongst others.

About:

Ashtanga vinyasa yoga is a dynamic, challenging, sequential asana (posture) based practice of yoga that combines the principles of
Patanjali’s eight limbs and T Krishnamacharya and K Pattabhi Jois’s development of linking movements together.
The class is an introduction to the primary series – led through the standing postures up to the first few seated postures.
The postures can be modified or adapted to suit all abilities

Suitable for:

Suitable for beginners or those new to the yoga or the method.

What to bring / wear:

Something comfortable that allows you to move freely – leggings, shorts, light trousers, vest or t-shirt.
Bring your own yoga mat. One or two available upon request prior to session. Also a block (if you have one) or blanket for
rest at the end (optional).
