Gentle Yoga for Mental Wellbeing is a course run a weekly basis aimed at people with long term health conditions, those seeking a
gentle Yoga class that is helpful for mental and emotional wellbeing.

This course is an introduction to Gentle Yoga for Mental Wellbeing. An invitation for you to create a wellness toolkit, using breathing exercises for mindful breathing, somatic movement and gentle yoga. You will learn yoga poses to nourish the nervous system, release tension in both mind and body. Be encouraged to keep a journal of your yoga practice. Discover how exercises for the Vagus Nerve can calm our mind and body. Settle into rest through Yoga Nidra.

Suitable for:

This course is for anyone who would like to de stress, reduce anxiety and find a pathway to rest at ease.
It is especially suitable for those recovering from long covid. M.E, or similar conditions, trauma, fatigue, stress and anxiety.

What to bring / wear:

Comfortable clothing, yoga mat ( if you have one), blanket for relaxation part and a water bottle .

Cost: £ Free if you earn under K 25 per annum or 8 per hour if your annual income is over K 25
