Move it or Lose it
About:
This is a Move it or Lose it exercise class for older adults (usually over 60’s). Exercises focus on flexibility, aerobic health, balance and strength. The exercises have been developed by the university of Birmingham to help with everyday activities. Each exercise is based on sound research. Exercises can be performed seated, standing supported or standing with no support.
Classes are designed to be friendly and enjoyable where exercises are accessible to all and participants are encouraged to work at there own level.
The aim is for older adults to be more active physically, cognitively and socially and to help maintain their independence.
