Feeding Your Demons® – A One-Day Workshop
About:
Feeding Your Demons® is a guided contemplative practice developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione, drawing on the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of Chöd.
Rather than fighting difficult emotions or inner conflicts, the practice invites us to meet them with curiosity, compassion and care. Through guided visualisation, reflection and paired practice, participants learn a five-step process that can help transform the way they relate to difficult feelings, self-criticism and other inner obstacles.
The day will include an introduction to the origins and context of the practice, teaching on the complete five-step process, a demonstration, guided practice, supported pair work, and time for questions and reflection.
No previous experience is necessary. The workshop is therapeutic and led in a trauma-informed way, but it is not therapy or crisis support.
Benefits:
- Learn the complete five-step Feeding Your Demons® practice.
- Explore a compassionate way of relating to difficult feelings and inner conflict.
- Discover what difficult parts of ourselves may need, rather than trying to fight or suppress them.
- Experience guided practice in a supportive and trauma-informed setting.
- Learn a contemplative process that you can continue to explore after the workshop.
