Inner Qigong
March 5 @ 09:00 - 10:00
An event every week that begins at 09:00 on Tuesday, repeating until 17th December 2024
About the class:
Inner Qigong is a method of self-exploration rather than formal exercise. It differs from other forms of Qigong because the exercises and movements grow out of the development of your own awareness rather than being taught as a set form. Each class starts with a warm up to get into the body, followed by a period of guided exploration through movement and voice work. This helps you to be directly aware of different aspects of your energy. From this exploration, we then develop the principles of a movement form which refine and strengthen these energy functions.

Testimonial(s):
“After several months of Inner Qi Gong classes I am feeling real benefits to my health. This form of Qi Gong focuses on the understanding of what goes on inside the human body: bones, muscles, organs, heart. Through detailed concentration on these parts, and gentle movement associated with them, I have come to a greater awareness of their interrelated functions and better ways of looking after them. Bill and Teresa are superb teachers. Experts in their field, they are enthusiastic and knowledgeable without being prescriptive. The result is an exhilarating experience.” Des
“This is so much more than a Qi Gong class, it is teaching me about my own body in a fascinating, almost medical way. How each part is connected, and where it all is! The visual metaphors have been brilliant for me, not only to memorise routines but to work the moves on a far deeper level. I find this class a complete delight.” Debra
