About the class:

Monkey Music are award-winning music classes for little ones.

Heigh-Ho, for toddlers from 12 months, is an exciting and up-beat class that is bundles of fun! Our little ones love to move so this class gets us in the mood for dancing and expressing with our whole bodies the music that we hear. Amongst hundreds of our own original songs are catchy action songs written especially to support language development and we theme our classes with a different focus each half term, using engaging and colourful props that help our visual memory.

Then, it’s time to play! Every child always has their own instrument, with enough of each type to go round, and we use real instruments, not toys. Our hand-held percussion instruments are designed for the little monkeys in each age-specific class to make sure that they are safe and the right size for their little hands – and they are cleaned thoroughly between classes so there’s no need to worry as they explore them!

What to wear / bring:

I provide everything you need to enjoy our classes, so just bring yourselves.  Wear whatever feels comfortable and allows you to move around freely. We sit together on floor mats during class and we ask everybody to take off their shoes to keep the space nice and clean for the little ones. If you enrol onto regular classes, your child receives a Welcome Pack which includes a lovely t-shirt to wear to class.

Cost: 

• First class is free.
• £5.75 per class, payable termly in advance (or pro-rata if booking part-way through the term)
• Bookings can be made online.
