Built in the early 1800s, RISE – formerly known as The HUBnub Centre – is a lovingly restored former church located in the heart of Frome. Within the building there are two venue hire spaces catering for a wide variety of classes and events, a contemporary art gallery, shop, a cafe and garden for families to enjoy and offices and work space. NEW GALLERY EXHIBITION
The Whittox Gallery at RISE is proud to announce their next exhibition ENDANGERED, celebrating the work of accomplished South West artists Julia Manning RE SWLA and Nik Pollard SWLA. Both members of The Society of Wildlife artists, inspired by our local wildlife and the plight of endangered species in our area; creating awareness and appreciation of local habitats and waterways.
Featuring Julia Manning’s latest series of thought provoking prints - ‘The Decline of Eels’ – that she worked in collaboration with international eel expert, Andy Don.
PV - Friday 29th from 6.30pm until 9pm - All Welcome
Show opens 30th April and will continue until June 25th.
Gallery and Gallery Shop open from 9am until 4pm - Tuesday to Saturday. Free Admission.
