In How Animals Heal Us, she draws on deep research to show how animals not only help our physical and mental health but have influenced our society and carry a deep spiritual charge. The book is teeming with eye-opening stories – about the life-saving justice of dogs and lions; about the ethics of wolves; about fieldfares who demonstrate the power of community in the most unexpected way!\nThe event takes place in our venue for the weekend, RISE. So come early, grab a coffee (and perhaps a pastry) from onsite Rye Bakery and let your festival weekend begin in calm and wondrous style…\nPlease note: there is no parking at the venue itself, but there is plenty of long-stay public parking within close walking distance to the venue at Cattle Market Car Park or Merchants Barton Car Park.
